ECUPL - 2010 Chinese Law Workshops
East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) - Chinese Law Workshops provides a general introduction to the Chinese legal system and Chinese commercial law. Tuition will be offered in such topics as the Chinese legal system, Chinese legal history, Chinese commercial law and foreign investment law. The visit will also include cultural trips and an opportunity to see first-hand the workings of Chinese law firm(s) based in Shanghai.
The opportunity would be particularly suited to lawyers or students with an interest in international commercial law and the Chinese legal system who wish to know more, and is open to all lawyers or students who can demonstrate a genuine interest and ability.
In 2010 the worhshop will run for two weeks from the beginning of September (likely to be 5-18 September but precise dates to be confirmed). ECUPL welcomes all of lawyers, international exchange students and has a well-developed support system in place. Airport pick-ups, university accommodation, orientation and other guidance will be provided on-site.
Accommodation is air-conditioned, with broadband access. Most rooms are twin bedroom. The quote is for single occupancy. Single rooms are available. All meals are included and are available in the same building as the accommodation. There is a cafeteria where meals can be taken. |
